Stores opened fast. THCA flower moved even faster. Then the state legislature decided the loophole had run its course.</p>

On July 1st, the harder rule landed. Anything over 0.3 percent THC on a dry-weight basis, including THCA flower, became illegal to sell in the state.</p>

He closed the doors for good on June 30th. Smokeable flower made up 40 percent of his sales, and it is now banned outright, with the milligram caps left on edibles too small to replace what he lost.</p>

Industry estimates put THCA at roughly 75 percent of Tennessee hemp sales before the ban, and retailers statewide are bracing for something close to 60 percent of their revenue disappearing this year.</p>

It also barred direct-to-consumer and online hemp sales outright, funneling every purchase through age-restricted storefronts licensed by the same commission that regulates liquor. A business model built on national shipping got zeroed out by a single legislative session in Nashville.</p>

Same total potency on the label, rebuilt entirely from cannabinoids that are still legal everywhere we ship today.</p>
